Best Friends Tour 2010

We can't wait until April 2010 when we get to spend a little time with the animals at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. We were there this year and really looking forward to doing it again. We've put together a one week tour starting and ending in Las Vegas April 25, 2010. The full details are avaiable on the web, just click here.

Best Friends Tour 2010

We're still doing research on our trip to visit Best Friends in 2010 and have most of the details worked out, but still waiting on a few loose ends to come together. Our tentative itinerary schedule is:

Sun, April 25 - Arrive Las Vegas and check in to our hotel
Mon, April 26 - Take our coach to Kanab with stops in St George and Pipe Springs National Monument with a tour of Best Friends in the afternoon.
Tue, April 27 - We'll spend all day at Best Friends working with the animals.
Wed, April 28 - Best Friends leaving mid-afternoon for Bryce National Park.
Thu, April 29 - Hiking in Bryce and leaving for Zion in the afternoon.
Fri, April 30 - Touring and hiking in Zion.
Sat, May 1 - Exploring Zion or shopping and back to Las Vegas late afternoon.

The tour will be fully escorted with two guides, most meals will be included, baggage handling, and several fun surprises will make this a most memorable event. Once we have the price locked in we will be posting more information. In the meantime, if you're interested please email me.

Back to Best Friends in 2010

Wouldn't it be great if we could combine a vacation with some volunteer activities helping with animal welfare? Well, that's just what we're going to do...

We're thinking about a one week tour to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah April 25 - May 1, 2010. Best Friends is the largest no-kill animal sanctuary in the United State with more than 1,500 animals on 3,000 acres in some of the most beautiful countryside you will ever see.

Click here for the Best Friends website.

After spending a day and a half with the animals we plan to go to Bryce and Zion Canyon National Parks for hiking, picnicing and relaxing in two of our most spectacular parks.
